NOUNOU Family Reforests Greece’s Fire-Affected Areas


n an era where forests and the environment face constant threats, NOUNOU Family, in partnership with the environmental organization We4all, took action to reforest fire-affected areas in Greece. The initiative planted 5,000 trees in Northern Evia, Hymettus, and Patras through an integrated CSR campaign combining digital engagement, PR, and BTL activities.
Consumers were invited to participate via voting on the microsite www.nounou.gr/familyanadasosi, selecting the area they wanted to reforest—without any purchase required. The process included a virtual drag & drop tree planting feature and QR codes in stores for easy access.
The campaign was communicated through PR events, internal corporate activities, shopper activations in hypermarkets, and buzz events in selected stores, generating awareness, engagement, and meaningful consumer participation. Two PR launch events were held in Hymettus and Patras, bringing together volunteers, partners, suppliers, and children to participate in the tree planting.
Results were notable:
- Microsite: 100,000 views, 5,220 votes
- Shopper & Buzz activations: thousands of participants and gifts
- PR events: 480 volunteers, 1,000 trees planted
The initiative strengthened NOUNOU Family’s brand image, highlighted its commitment to a sustainable future, and engaged consumers as active contributors to the environmental effort.
